My hat is off to this guy! Presidential candidate John Davis came rolling through  Decatur this week claiming to fix America with his patriotic wrench! Davidson, who is only on the ballot in three states, claims that he will visit every county in the United States in his patriotic red white and blue bus!

For me, it was a chance to practice an impromptu portrait on a last-minute call because  things change when you forget your flash and reflectors! As luck would have it, Davis rolled up and parks in the shade…… sweet.  So, all I had to do was pull him into the light and I had a minus-1.7 background, made in the shade if you will. The hard overhead light gave him that harsh workingman, outdoors look and his rolling billboard killed the busy background!
