Every now and then I’m asked to do senior portraits, most of the time schedule of news and story doesn’t allow much time, but every now and then it works out! Such was the case with Candice Mcdaniels, a Paradise Volley Ball player who started asking me to shoot hers at the first of the year. She told me she just wanted something natural and simple.

Of course along the way the creativity kicked in and she dreamed up the top shot. To get that kind of morning sunlight at three in the afternoon, simplicity kinda went out the window. If you don’t have the time to wait on it, make it. And although I love the scene………
