In my early days of entering the video world, this was my first of  dwelve off into the production and filming side.

At a Time when Newspapers were trying to figure out how to appeal to the masses of the no longer reading paper, getting all my news from the web individuals, we started shooting video for web with a tease in the newspaper.

Chris Baines was leading his field  as a Northwest Texan sprinter, and was a shoe-in to win Stack track that year. As the things that happen in the video production world Chris pulled a Hamstring four days before State. So… Twelve hours of shooting, editing, and putting the puzzle together, the launch was scrapped.

I was super bummed but what I didn’t realize at the time was how this one flick changed my whole perception of video of years as a still shooter and seeing as a still shooter see’s. The fact that I could use my same vision by adding a few tweaks to it left me longing to do more.
