Illustrative Photography can be a whole different animal,although not as intense as breaking news, it leaves a little more time, thus more creativity.

Such was the case of the drip, done for a feature on the toxins, or not,  in the Chico water system. The drop was a secondary to the main art,although it didn’t run large enough to tell in the paper, the whole thing was the look of the symbols in the waterdrops.

The challange with something like this,it’s kinda like shooting silhouettes in a way, light what you want to see, (in this case the wall ) not letting light hit the subject,let the light shine through from the wall into the droplets, if any light had hit the droplets directly, the effect would have been lost!
