….for a great abstract,or a……

So the last two days have been fast and furious, with feet from all over Texas pounding the Tech track at Lubbock. On the back side of two sixteen hour days as I wait for the next command from sports editor, who working like a beaver trying to finish up sport writing stuff,before we begin six hour trip home.

Time for ponderation.

Not really sure what it is that I like about yearend track competition, wether it’s the lugging around the 50 pounds of equipment, the extremes in Texas weather, or the wide array of fast food available to be chocked down in-between races.

Well quite simply, it’s the emotion of life contained in this one place for two days, the sweetness of the win……

……The bitterness of the loss.

The little moments flow like wine, wether a cool abstract or a great face, the moments or for the taking like a easter egg hunt for Photographers, that’s what makes it worth it!
