The People You Meet!
November 13, 2009

The cooliest thing about what I get to do everyday, is the people I meet, and the relationships that brings about. Not only the people themselves, but the parents, friends, and others in their circle. I kinda equate it to a social networking system, (the Facebook) but in the physical sense, instead of cyber!
The latest of which is a junior athlete at Northwest High School, who recently had open heart surgery to remove a tumor from her heart. What an incredible person, and family. Full story Braveheart.
Last week, I met Gregory the Mule man, who made a 2500 mile journey with his mules. While camping out on his way through Wise County, I got a chance to visit. A little Faith.
It’s all about perspectives, and with each new acquaintance, comes the chance to absorb.

Doing a Veterans story last week, got to visit with a bunch of vets from different branches, different wars, and different thoughts on the war. Most I knew, some of the younger ones I did not, but quickly got to.
Talk about a birage of perspectives, wow! With every person comes a new story with fresh ideas, food for thought, new wisdom, old wisdom, experiences, questions, and answers!
The photographic challenge of telling their story accurately is the goal. What could be better?

Hey, Joe! That is also one of the things I love about writing. I have had the opportunity to meet so many interesting people – people whose path I would have not crossed otherwise. Always rewarding and enlightening.
