A cool shot can come from just about anywhere, from anything, anytime.

This shot comes from a photo story on a cattle sale barn in Decatur and a web piece about a wild character that works there. Watch for the “Ally Rider” next week.

This was the only shot I kept as a keeper from the whole shoot. Without a cut line it doesn’t give a full story, which a stand alone photo should do by all means — but in the abstract world there are no cut lines, it’s up to the viewer to interpret as they will. Some will like it; some will hate it; but I bet most will give it a second glance anyway — and as a artist if you can make your viewer stop. look. and think… you’ve done your thing.
