While most of the rest of us are trying to find ways to avoid the heat, the resiliency of youth embraces it!

Texas heat has always been a pretty big story, August in Texas you expect it. Our job as photographers, is to visually show it. Giving fair play to both sides, one side being the agony of a lot of people living through another Texas August, and at the same time showing the youthful play of kids enjoying the heat without any consequences or fear,  just laughter!

The great thing about this found feature shot is  the fact that I was actually riding around with my son Cody, like the days of old looking for something that jumped out in the hot August evening. At one point, riding around absorbing the town was a daily ritual, the found shot was the climax of the day.

Sometimes reliving yesterday takes you back to tomorrow!
