Headed for New York City again next week to study Jay Maisel. Hard to believe it’s been six months already since I booked the trip. I’ve wanted to take this class for five years. The time has come! Just the creative energy of New York will put you in orbit. Couple that with the teaching of the grandmaster of photography and, well, it should be electrifying!

Last time I went I was chaperoning a high school journalism class (what a trip). The shooting was limited but I did manage to collect a few favorites. This time, it’s just me and my camera — no video, no audio, just the purest form of photography you could hope for!
