Many years ago while visiting Walla Walla, Washington, I set out on a walk on Sunday morning. I figured I would combine my love for walking, taking photographs and exploring new places. Johnny Cash was playing on my earphones, the song was ” Sunday morning sidewalk. ”

There was something about the words of the song mixed with my emotion that morning that spurred me to photograph people without people, a topic I had touched on many times in my class. Sunday morning sidewalk was born.  Being more of a meditative activity, simplicity is the key, so… only one rule, one camera, one lens. That eliminates thought and keeps focus on your subject.

Its more about just walking and feeling what the images are trying to say. There’s no pressure of producing anything so, it just comes. It’s more about doing what you love and the reason you started in the first place.
