Starting to seem a lot…..

…..like not Texas. For the second time in a week, a blizzard has hit Wise County, making it a winter photo world, not to mention cold! The first one was really nice, even with the cold, maybe the fact that it happened on Christmas was it. After three days of shooting snow, I was ready for it to be gone! With the ground still covered in the shadow areas from the previous snow, the sky dumped again Tuesday. Although it wasn’t cold enough to stick around for long, it was cold to a sunny weather Texas boy, after just thawing from the first.

This little pop came and went so fast, didn’t give but about four hours of nice snow shooting. What it did do was get me to thinking about geography and the relativeness of a photo.

For instance this one is pretty cool for North Central Texas, simply because we don’t see that much snow. I would venture in the north that this could be a pretty common shot, so does excellence equal region or geography of location?
