For me it’s a love hate relationship with techno stuff, but for the most part I don’t want to spend any more time behind the computer than necessary. I have to say that comes in spurts, largely due to the weather, I mean if it’s a 110 day in the hot Texas sun, I’m looking for a excuse to be inside. Then again when a piece of software comes a long that simplifies things to the point that I can ease my workflow, I jump on board and want to know everything about it that helps my time issue.

Such is the case with Lightroom3. Started working in this program when it first came out but wasn’t impressed. Have to say it’s come a long way baby!

With the lightroom2 addition I made it my standard software program, only second to the initial cull in Photomechanic, but with the upgrade to 3 I feel I can say that this is the major ticket for ease and simplicity.

All those hours learning Photoshop………. well, it still has it’s place, but for the working photog…..Lightroom3, yes!
