The great thing about high school sports over college or pro is the access — not just on the field, but through the chain link fence, as well behind home plate.  This shot came after running around the dugout three or four times when the runner got to second base. Remote? Probably would have been easier — I’m just not a big fan of them. I  generally only set up a remote when it’s someplace that I can not physically be while the action is taking place. Control freak? Yes, but even though I’ve only got three shots over the years that I considered keepers through remotes, there is no telling how many frames it cost to get there. Can you say wear and tear?
