Rodeo and Western Lifestyle Photography Workshop

Texas Vision is a new type of photography adventure with an old West twist. During this 5 day, workshop, Joe Duty will take you behind the scenes for a Western culture photographic expedition. This unique photography workshop is designed for any photographer interested in improving their skills or just shooting something different than what any other photography workshop is offering.  Skills you will learn include: includes specific camera settings to capture the best images for shooting rodeo, portraits and lighting, using flash, lifestyle, HDR, shooting at night and seeing images with a creative eye.

Photo 101 – Texas Style

Join us for Photo 101 -Texas Style, hosted in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District!  This workshop will teach the basics of how ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture work together to create amazing images while experiencing true western heritage. The Stockyards has everything from brick roads to wooden cattle chutes and even The Fort Worth Herd, a daily cattle drive down the streets of cowtown.

Photo 102 Class

Photo 102 is an intermediate class offered to students with an understanding of basic camera skills. The class covers use of flash, both on and off camera, time exposures at night, HDR Photography, Portrait Lighting and Modeling, beginning studio, and advanced lessons on seeing creatively. The class runs from Friday at 1pm to Sunday at 12:00pm.

Photo 101 Class

Photo 101 Class covers the basics of photography from lighting to camera settings. You will learn how to shoot on manual and bring your images to life. You will learn how the camera see’s and make it see how you want it to by using ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture appropriately for a given situation. Class takes place each Wednesday evening for 4 weeks. There is also a field trip included to put to use all the skills you have learned.

Photo Editing

This class will teach you how to begin correcting and perfecting your images using Adobe Lightroom.   It will cover how to set up catalogs and import into Lightroom. Next we will show you how to use some of the basic and advanced tools and set up presets. Finally you will learn how easy it is to export photos for whatever format you need your images.
