Watch the Compression.

Few years back did a preview to upcoming fireworks events, the rules, not that I knew them at the time was no fireworks popped within 250 feet of the stand for obvious reasons. As luck would have it though, I was fairly within the range but when the photo came out, the compression of the telephoto lens made it look much closer. Had a lot of “splanin” to do to brothers of the volunteer Chico fire Dept.

Do have a confession, not that I was hoping to set off anything, or burn up the stand, but I did wonder what the background would have looked like with several thousand bottle rockets coming out of it at one time.
