….. No, I really am happy to see you!

As a news event, shooting politiscs can be kinda slow, lot of hand shaking, and standing around. On the other hand it’s still a game of sorts. The height of the action could just be a great face in great light.

Speaking of light, it doesn’t come much better than the senate floor light. This was the first time I have been to the capital, since the D3 purchase, what a difference it made. I was shooting @ f2.8,100ss @ iso 1600, virtually grain less.

My day job there was to cover Wise County people mingling with the reps and senators, These guys move pretty fast to be a group this size, so not much time to set up light, more just the run and gun method

D3,f5.6,125th,iso 1000 sb900 -2 stops ttl

I always find the architecture amazing as well so guess what I did on my time?  All in all it was a capital.

Joe,

I absolutely love that you could get that many individuals to wave at once from the balcony. I take many photos, and that is a really hard shot to get.

Kudos!!
