Just another Nikon Z9 review? No, I have seen thousands of reviews on this amazing camera, I literally watched hours of informative videos before I even got the camera in my hands! My goal here is to simplify the question of  should I buy this camera or not? It’s really not a question at all but more of a, if you got the money, buy it!  It will fit the bill for any type of photography and do it at amazing Hi-Rez quality. They are plenty of blog post and videos describing this camera in great detail, so I don’t feel like there’s much that I can add to that, my goal was to simplify it and just say it is the most amazing camera I have ever held in my hands! If you have ever dreamed of a camera doing something, this one does it, and it does it fast. It’s also a very intuitive and responsive ride as far as acquiring the shots with all the programmable buttons. Being a guy who loved his Nikon F4, You can understand my attachment to buttons. If there is any one thing that I am having a problem dealing with, being my first mirror less camera,  it’s the lack of noise of the shutter, not that is a negative but, it will take a bit of getting used to.

As a Rodeo Photographer, this is a game changer. I was able to use the DX crop sensor on Z9 with my 70 to 200 and get almost identical file size as the Nikon D6 on full frame! For sportshooter, this is the cats meow, for the commercial shooter, the same, finally one camera does everything. As a photo journalist for years, I would’ve killed to have a camera in my hands on some of the shoots. No more juggling between the Nikon D850 for file size and the Nikon D6 for speed, seems almost too good to be true!

In closing, if you hadn’t surmised by now, I am in love with this camera. The only mistake I made when NPS sent my notice, is that I did not order two or four!
Nikon has done an amazing job of marketing this camera, and it is all the rage at this time, as it should be, there is a valid reason. The only thing to hold your work back now as a photographer, is your own creativity level, if you can envision it, you can make it!
