New Teaching

The Texas Photography workshop was huge hit

Super Hit last year was the fact that we didn’t pick up a camera to shoot events except for initial instruction. I never really thought about it, It was just the way my instructors had taught me. We had students from all across the US, many students expressed the fact that in most of their previous classes the instructors would turn their students loose and be focused on getting shots for theirselves. Most of this come out at the PPLA rodeo in Mineral Wells, Texas.

We would work our way between twelve students trying to give them the best position, angle, camera exposure instruction. I feel like if you are teaching, you should teach and save your desires of your own shots for a non-classroom environment. As we start Finalizing Venus for this years class, we continue to hone the teaching process in order for each student to take home what they need from class.
