The piano was out of tune, the acoustics left something to be desired but I still like it!

I got a call about this set of 93 year old women with a band.  Yes, I said a band.  They call themselves “The Merry Widows” and I have to admit, I was kind of excited to hear this.  From the beginning, I found much more than just a band of widows. These ladies, who are not happy with just sitting on the front porch, continue to live life until the time they don’t!  Heck, I’m just hoping I can still hear at their age!

I think time has ceased to be a issue for the young of old, so it seems that that just enjoy where they are at at the time.

 I listened to the reporters interview them and they would responded to each question with a slow but enthusiastic answer and I got the feeling that they were mostly answering based on their past, because at the end of each answer they just simply smiled.

Sometimes in a story you get more than you bargain for in some form and for me, this day, it was all about living in the moment!
