Had a call from sports editor, wanted to do a story on Chris Bain, the golden boy at Northwest high school in Justin, Texas. 

Fantastic, had just learned all these cool video moves at a workshop in Norman, Ok. thought this would be a great opportunity to practice those. It was, and Chris is just a cool individual anyway and fun to work with, so it was on.

So,myself and assistant head out, and at the end of six hours had most everything cut and worked since not much dialogue was used. All we had to do was build the music track, and wait on Chris to win State Regionals in Lubbock. Didn’t happen, Bain pulled a hamstring, it was all over. story was over, never ran. 

That’s the way it goes sometimes when you roll the dice, but we were to close not to finish, check it out!
