Texas State Track 2011 — I have waited on this shot from this young lady for three years. Hanna Galloway of Decatur qualified for the last three years, but fell a little short in each until today, in her senior year. Over the years you shoot these youngsters and watch them grow into young adults — you feel their pain and in today’s case, their joy. Emotion and the thrill of the moment has always been the attraction for me at the track finals. to witness Hanna come across the line today through the lens was over the top — celebration of the human spirit just doesn’t get any better!
