Kind of corny, yes, but only had about 15 minutes to satisfy sports editor’s words about the heat of the moment in the football world. In thinking back now, I would’ve 86ed the goal post and had a football player walking away in the background, preparation and thought before the shoot always works!

This was the start of football hell week as we call it, that’s where all eight schools get mugshots and team shots took of all the football players, volleyball players, and cross country runners for the fall preview section.

Every year at this time, my favorite part is turning the vision that we come up with into a rocking football cover. Every year it gets a little tougher to try to beat the year before but therein lies the challenge.
