Great News today! After 142 hours of shooting Rodeo to meet my PRCA requirements, I am in. Wasn’t that simple actually. It came in large part due to the contacts that I have made over the years shooting rodeo, such as veteran rodeo photogs Bob Click and W.T. Bruce who wrote my recommendation letters. My experience of shooting with these guys and getting rodeo experience comes from 18 years of shooting under a media organization. Knowing what I know now, out of respect for these guys and all who have came before me in the field, I should have had it years ago.  Just want to give a huge shout out to these guys for trusting in my work!

Next… never discount who you meet and where the Universe has decided that you should be at any particular time. 2019 All_ American, I meet this cool lady that was shooting right beside me for most of the event. Little did I know that she would be the one doing my arena evaluation for PRCA 6 months later. Thanks so much Kay Miller for your time and respect as a fellow photog and just a awesome human. Your generosity of spirit is very much appreciated.

So.. the hugest thank you goes to the most amazing person in my life, Lisa Duty, my wife, Partner and soulmate who has been there every step of the way, supporting, helping and in my corner, thanks my LOVE.

It’s go time, PRCA Card #337828 reporting for DUTY!!!
