Thursday night, had gotten all my shots for the print editions, no pressure, just play, experiment, enjoy the visuals!

Decided to travel light, for me that would be two cameras, 80- 200  zoom, 16mm fisheye, and a lens baby.  The only flash was the d-700 on camera flash, which is a good alternative if you’re traveling light and you’re this close..

Okay, add the dream baby  (I like that name better) and you have instant weirdness on a couple different levels.  Man just think what I could’ve done with this with a couple of soft boxes and lights, but for a traveling light photo on a improvising level, I’ll take it!

I have been asked, why would you go out there if you didn’t have to?  Well for a photographer working in a small town where not too much happens on a daily basis, for one week out of the year (potentially the hottest week of the year) it’s a place where you’re only limited by your imagination!
