Coleaderos, Wise County style
April 25, 2011
Got a chance this weekend to shoot a Mexican rodeo, these things are about as wild and photographical as it gets. For me this is the epitome of Spanish culture, these guys really have there stuff together. It’s a time when the men are really men and the señoritas are really señoritas. It’s the Spanish version of neighborhood tackle football.
Had shot several of these in the past, so decided to do a little something different this time. We decided to set up lights on location in front of a rustic, characteristic background and as the guys were ready, would pull them in for a quick portrait session.
Have to say, it doesn’t get much better than this for a photographer, I mean you get your faces, and enough action to sustain even the most energetic sports photographer.
