The Decatur Eagles Football team of 2018 has much reason to celebrate after Thursday’s win over Hereford.From a Photographer’s standpoint, It’s great to follow the same team all year in winning a2nd losing, you feel as if your part of the team with the relationships you build over the season. Gotten to know most of the kids on the sideline, what a great group to hangout within football night.

For the Eagles, at this point, football is usually over for the year, to be playing into the second week in December is a major bonus and that’s exactly what they will  be doing next week as they head to Jerry’s world for the semi-finals.

I always enjoy the action and trying to capture that one in a lifetime shot, but the emotion is where it’s at always. You shoot four quarters and as the intensity of winning or losing builds you continue to reposition your self for the angle and moment that’s to come at the end for that one story telling image that says everything and lands above the fold on page one.
