I’m reminded today of a shoot a couple years ago at Decatur volleyball. As I was again setting up a camera for an Eagle eye view, (no pun intended ladies) by putting a camera up top inside the scoreboard for the big volleyball battle of big Sandy blow out. I’m thinking to myself I got off two shots last time before being shut down by the refs hope the four hours of preparation will not be in vain.
As with this one, flash is a must. After working on this shot for several hours, once the game started, I managed to get two shots off, the ref stopped the game, and said I had to shut the flash down. Okay, so now I have to wait three more hours before I can get my camera down, do keep in mind, I had no idea that I got this shot, so after fuming for three hours waiting for my exit, it was so worth it when I looked at the LCD. This particular shot was the JV game, and the player just happened to be my neighbor,Laren Smith.
