Every year at this time I have to go back through all the years images and pick my favorites for the Messenger and year end contest. I try to take that time to relook at every image with a increased knowledge base from the time I took the photo and make mental changes for the next time I’m in a similar situation. I have found this very useful in the past because shooting in a small market I have to shoot the same events over and over,  it’s kinda a jumpstart on the year.
