A face is a face

Some times the lights not right, sometimes the background is not what you were hoping for but there is nothing that takes the place of conveying emotion like the face.

From my experience the face is the first thing people want to see in a photo, You can always work on the background or the light in the next frame but without the gesture of the face, the photo will not breathe!

I'm lucky in the fact that I've had a lot of the gesture of the face shared with me over the years, some happy, some sad, some just the lines and texture tell the whole story. Some more of my favorites
