It's Here!

That would be Friday night lights! Well almost, what is here though, is football media days, and what comes with that is midday mugshots, hurry up, and we're only missing three players. Well just in time for that is the new guy Nikon SB 900. Just when you thought things couldn't get any better Nikon does it, along with user friendliness, one of my favorite ad editions to this flash unit, is the ability to zoom the light pattern twice as far as the SB 800. I decided to try some different this year, armed only with D700, a sync cord, and the SB900, I would shoot mugshots in midday light.











Now add a little wind and some open shade, mugs could be kinda fun. Not perfect by any means, but for a simplistic fast and dirty approach at shooting 80 kids in just under 30 minutes, I'll take it.
