By the light of the moon!

Many a night and morning the last several years I have chased the moon trying to capture it in all its grander.

moon over courthouse, "I know you remember this one Cody, because I can still remember your teeth chattering as you held the flash on the clock".
But in this next one it is hard to tell that the moon is back there, I decided to use it a little differently, simply backlite as my ambient light source.
Nikon D2X, 1 80 macro, ISO 640, 125th at f56, flashlight held high at camera left.

Gotta hand it to ya Joe, these kick butt!! Spider and the moon my fav.!!! I know how Cody feels, at least you did'nt have him running circles around a dead tree in total darkness for half the night, but it was alot warmer(w/ticks)!! INSECT REPELLANT --Don't leave home without it!! UH, only during the warm season, Joe.
